APERITIVO | From road to track in a 1971 Ferrari 365 GTB/4 'Daytona' Competizione
Introducing our new, stylistic, short film concept, ‘Aperitivo’ where the cars do the talking.
Sit back for a few minutes, pour yourself a glass of your favourite aperitif, and revel in un-silenced Columbo V12 symphony with our Ferrari 365 GTB/4 'Daytona' Competizione.
When French gentleman driver Philippe Cornet-Epinat got his hands on chassis 14049 in 1971, his intentions were clear: go racing. He entrusted Charles Pozzi to convert his Daytona to full Competizione specification, and raced the car at the Le Mans 4 Hours race in 1972.
One can imagine he drove the car to the race from his home, and very probably drove it back. We re-enacted this endeavour 54 years later.
