Meet the team
Sam Hancock – Founder
A professional racing driver with a career spanning three decades across contemporary and historic motorsport, our founder has certainly experienced many of the world’s greatest competition cars. After a single-seater career that carried him to Formula 3000—the final step before Formula 1—Sam found his true calling in endurance sportscar racing, claiming the 2004 European Le Mans Series LMP2 Championship as a works driver for Courage Compétition, followed by a five-year tenure with the modern-day Cadillac works team, Jota. Perhaps the ultimate highlight came when he represented Aston Martin at the 24 Hours of Le Mans in the premier LMP1 category, piloting the iconic Gulf-liveried DBR1-2. A seven-time veteren of the 24 Hours of Le Mans, Sam adjusted his focus to the vibrant world of historic racing in 2013. Judging by the silverware cluttering our office, this chapter has been every bit as successful—especially at Goodwood, where he has multiple wins, pole positions, and fastest laps to his name. It is through these dual worlds of modern and historic motorsport—and nearly twenty-five years as a respected private driver coach—that Sam has built the deep knowledge, expertise, and personal relationships that form the foundation of our business today.
Sam is a full member of the British Racing Drivers Club.
Chloé Mardell –
Operations and Client Services
Chloé is the steady hand at the steering wheel of our operations, keeping everything running smoothly and all of us on track. With her roots in the corporate world, Chloé brings a wealth of organisational know-how and a sharp, strategic approach to the office. While not an avowed petrolhead, even she admits to the allure of a 356 Speedster and the sheer presence of a T70 MKIIB. Chloé’s balance of efficiency, professionalism, and quiet appreciation for automotive artistry makes her an indispensable part of the team.
William Lowery –
History and Market Research
Joining the team in 2024 following stints at both Kidston and Carhuna, William has already packed a wealth of experience into his young career. When he is not scouring the internet for obscure motoring books or conducting forensic analysis of the latest market data, William is usually to be found at his desk behind towers of archive materials and memorabilia attesting to his ceaseless pursuit of the perfect history file.
